Catholic Central comes in ranked ready to go after three in a row

The Catholic Central Crusaders come into 2026 High School Football season at #2 in the national rankings. CCH is tied for 1st with Huron Heights in the Ontario High School Football Top 25 Coaches Poll.

After winning the TVRA Senior football title in 2024 and 2025 there is every expectation that Catholic Central is the team to beat in 2026.

A resounding OFSAA Bowl victory is still reverberating through practice among the players who played in it and won but the focus has quickly shifted to this season and what needs to happen to do it all over again.

CCH will head to Burlington on Friday, Sept. 11 for a joint scrimmage featuring #9 ranked Assumption Catholic Secondary School and two other schools preparing for this year.

Two other London schools that deserve big attention are Saint Andre Bessette who are ranked #22 in Ontario and London South who sits at #25 in the province.
